Bulk Customer Notifications

Overview

This article explains how to send customer notifications in bulk from the Manifests screen in SolBox.

This feature allows users to notify all customers linked to selected manifests at once via SMS and/or Email, helping streamline delivery communications.

Navigation

  1. From the left-hand menu, select Manifests

  2. Use the search or date range filters to locate the required manifests

  3. Select one or more manifests using the checkbox on the left




When to Use Bulk Customer Notifications

Bulk notifications are commonly used when:

  • Sending delivery notifications for multiple manifests

  • Notifying customers of scheduled or same-day deliveries

  • Re-sending notifications after route, date, or ETA changes

  • Informing customers before drivers depart


Sending Bulk Customer Notifications

  1. Select the required manifest(s) from the list

  2. Click Notify at the top of the screen

  3. The Send Notifications window will appear

  4. Choose how you want to notify customers:

    • Send SMS notifications

    • Send Email notifications

  5. Click Send to confirm

Notifications will be sent to all customers linked to the orders within the selected manifests.


What Customers Receive

Depending on your account configuration, customers may receive:

  • SMS and/or email delivery notifications

  • Delivery tracking links

  • Delivery date or ETA information


Selection Tips

  • You can select multiple manifests at once

  • Use Select all manifests to notify all manifests in the filtered list

  • Use Clear selection to remove all selected manifests


Important Notes

Only customers with valid email addresses or phone numbers saved on their orders will receive notifications.
Notification content and delivery methods depend on your notification settings.
Bulk notifications do not override automated notification rules already configured on the account.
If ETAs change throughout the day, customers may see updated delivery times when using the tracking link.
