Setting App Location Permission to Allow All The Time on Android

This article will provide you with instructions on how to set location permission for the SmartMove app to  'Allow all the time'.

Location permission

All the time: The app can use your location at any time.
Only while using the app: The app can use your location only when you're using that app.
Deny: The app cannot use your location, even when you’re using the app. 

If you are using the driver app for the first time after downloading, it will prompt and ask for location permission.

Permission Location Settings

Once the driver app's location permission has been enabled, go to the device's Settings. Under settings, select and tap Location.

Under the Location settings menu, select 'App Permissions'

The menu will display a list of apps categorised by their location permissions:
  1. Allowed all the time
  2. Allowed only while in use
  3. Denied
Scroll down to find the SmartMove app.

Then tap on SmartMove.

Then tap and select Allow all the time.

Alternatively, this setting can be accessed by going to the app settings.

Go to the device's settings and tap on Apps on the menu.

Scroll down until you find and tap on SmartMove. Then, under the SmartMove menu, tap on Permissions.

Under App permissions, tap on Location.

It will bring you to the location access menu, then tap on Allow all the time.
