Upload Fuel Card Data to Your Telematics Account

Monitoring fleet fuel usage through fuel card imports is an excellent way to track and optimize fuel consumption for a fleet of vehicles. Fuel cards can provide detailed transaction data that helps fleet managers keep an eye on fuel costs, identify potential issues with fuel usage, and even reduce operational expenses by spotting trends or anomalies.

The fuel card provider offers CSV/Excel files, you can regularly upload these files to your account.


1.       Prepare the CSV/Excel File. It must include the following data:

2.       Log in to Your Telematics System

·       Open your telematics portal.

·       Log in to your account using login credentials.


3.      Access the Fuel Module

·       Navigate to the Fuel Module within your platform. This is usually where you can manage and monitor fuel-related data, track fuel transactions, and perform analysis.

·       Select Import Data tab and click upload.



4.       Upload the CSV/Excel File

·       Once you click Upload, a file dialog box will appear.

·       Browse your computer to find the CSV/Excel file with the fuel data you want to import.

·       Select the file and confirm the upload.


5.    Review the Data

·       Verify that everything looks correct — check the vehicle IDs, fuel amounts, and dates to make sure they match up with your expectations.
