This guide will help select the optimisation plan that best suits routing preferences by configuring the optimiser algorithm and route structure,
Accessing and Configuring Route Optimisation
1. Go to the Settings menu and click on the Route Optimisation tab at the top of the screen to begin.

Optimisation Plan
Under the Optimisation Plan section, you can:
2. Select an Optimiser Algorithm
Choose how the system calculates the most efficient delivery routes based on your operational needs:
- Optimiser Standard: Cross (8) – Ideal for areas with intersecting or grid-style streets.
- Optimiser Standard: Circular (9) – Best for loop-based runs where drivers circle back toward the start.
- Optimiser Standard: Wide (10) – Suitable for runs covering a larger or more spread-out area.
- Optimiser Pro – Offers advanced logic and greater flexibility for more complex delivery requirements. (Currently available only to GM Pro customers. You may need to upgrade your account.

Upgrading your account to GM Pro also provides access to Predictive and Live Customer ETA features.

You can switch between optimiser algorithms before creating manifests. We recommend testing each one to see which best suits your operational needs.
3. Choose an Optimiser Configuration
Select how each route should start and finish:
Open-ended – The driver does not return to the depot after completing their route.
Start and end at depot – The driver starts and finishes the run at the depot.

Once the preferred optimiser algorithm and configuration have been set, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save Changes
