SmartMove Vehicle Integration with Telematics
This article outlines the process of integrating vehicles from the SmartMove platform into Telematics.
1. Enable Integration on SmartMove.
Go to the Settings menu, select the Integration tab and scroll down to find Linxio.
Tick the checkbox, enter your Telematics admin credentials (username and password), and then click Save Changes.
2. Obtain the vehicle Asset Identity from Telematics.
The Asset Identity can be obtained by logging in to the Telematics platform and selecting the vehicle.
2. Go to the Fleet section, then select and click on the vehicle rego number from the list of vehicles.
3. You will be redirected to the vehicle's status page.
In the browser's address bar, locate the URL containing the Asset Identity number. Carefully copy and paste the number located between the slashes.
3. Enter the Asset Identity on to the vehicle profile on SmartMove.
Go to the Vehicles section on SmartMove and select the vehicle to be linked with the tracker in Telematics.
On the vehicle profile, enter the the number obtained from Telematics on to Linxio Asset Identity field and click Save Changes.
The vehicle's real-time location in Telematics will be reflected in SmartMove.
Please enable the integration status to facilitate seamless navigation between SmartMove Live and Telematics.
