Advanced Order Options

Advanced Order Options

Advanced Options allow you to control how orders behave across the platform, including visibility, costs, dimensions, manifest behaviour, time handling, and default pickup and delivery settings. These settings help standardise order creation, improve optimisation accuracy, and reduce manual adjustments.

To access Advanced Order Options:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select the Orders tab

Order Settings

Only Show (days)
Controls how many days of orders are visible by default in the Orders list.
This helps reduce screen clutter for high-volume accounts.

Default Order Type
Defines the default order type when creating new orders.
Example: Delivery, Pickup, or Pickup and Delivery.

Ignore Time for Orders
When enabled, order time windows are ignored during optimisation.
Useful when time constraints are not required for routing.

Use System Times
Uses system-generated timestamps instead of imported times.

These options control which fields are visible and usable within order records:
Show Order Delivery Cost
Show Order Item Cost
Show Order Item Dimensions
Show Order Capacity
Enabling these options allows costs, dimensions, and capacity to be factored into reporting and route optimisation.

Copy Imported Addresses to Order Details
Copies imported address data into the order details fields.

Include Client Name when Geocoding Addresses
Adds the client name to improve address matching.

Duplicate Order Customer Reference
Allows the same customer reference to be used across multiple orders.

Allow the Driver to Update Order Location
Allows drivers to adjust the order location from the driver app.

Manifest Options

Allocate Imported Orders to Zones
Upon import of orders, assigns them to zones based on address location and automatically creates manifests with orders allocated according to those zones.

Enable Auto Allocation to Zones
Automatically allocates orders to zones only for orders created manually.

Vehicle Starts Empty
Assumes vehicles start with no load at the beginning of a manifest.

Actual Real-Time Routes
Uses live route data instead of estimated routing.

Default for New Manifests
Applies these manifest settings automatically to new manifests.

Default Manifest Times

Default Manifest Start Time
Sets the default start time for new manifests.

Default Manifest End Time
Sets the default end time for new manifests.

PDF Options

Use Customer Reference in Consignment Notes
Displays the customer reference on consignment note PDFs.

Highlight Words in PDF Documents
Highlights specified words in generated PDF documents.

Default Time Windows

These settings define the default time window applied to new pickup and delivery orders.
Info
Leave these fields blank if all customers have individual time windows already set on their customer profiles.

Default Earliest Time
The start time of the time window.

Default Tolerance (minutes)
The duration of the time window, measured in minutes.
For example, a time window from 5:00 am to 11:00 am equals 360 minutes.

Default Service Time (minutes)
The time allowance given to the driver to complete the pickup or delivery at the stop. This can be a specific time or an average and is used as the default service time.
