Device Options

The Device Options page is found under Settings in the SolBox platform. This section allows administrators to configure what drivers are required or allowed to do when completing Pickup and Delivery tasks through their devices.

Key Features

Allow Driver Cash Received

Allows drivers to record cash payments received from customers. Enable this if your workflow includes Cash on Delivery (COD) or cash collection during pickups.

Mandatory Signature

Requires the driver to capture a customer signature before completing the job. This serves as proof of delivery or pickup.

Mandatory Photos

Requires the driver to take one or more photos before marking the job as complete. Useful for confirming delivery, verifying product condition, or documenting location.

Mandatory Load Quantities

Requires the driver to enter item quantities when loading or unloading goods. Ensures accurate tracking of stock or package counts.

Mandatory Comments

Requires the driver to enter comments before completing the job. Helps capture important details such as customer notes or delivery issues.

Saving Changes

Once you’re done adjusting the settings, click Save Changes to apply them.

Purpose

These options give you full control over driver task requirements in the field, ensuring every pickup and delivery meets your business standards and data accuracy goals.
