What are Customer Notifications?
Customer Notifications are automated messages sent via SMS or email to keep customers informed about their order status, for example, when an order is on the way or has been completed.
The SolBox platform allows you to set up automated pickup and delivery notifications for your business customers. These notifications help assure that their orders will arrive by the estimated time of arrival (ETA). Customers can also access additional details through the electronic Proof of Delivery (POD).
Each notification includes a link that directs the customer to a dedicated page displaying detailed order information and a delivery timeline. Completed notifications include the recipient’s name, delivery date, and time.
Additionally, you can include photos, signatures, and comments in the notification process. These fields can also be configured as mandatory if your workflow requires it.
Enabling Customer Notifications
Go to settings > Notifications > Tick the applicable options > Save Changes.

Set up the Sender name:
2. In "General" - "SMS Notification", fill in "Notifications Sender Name" > click "Save changes"
Set up recipients in the customers' profiles:
2. Search and select the customer you want to send a delivery notification to by clicking into the customer number
3. Fill in phone numbers or emails that will be used as ETA and Order Status notification recipients. You can add multiple emails or phone numbers by separating them with ";". Customers will automatically receive pick-up/delivery ETA and POD notifications. If you want to disable the notifications, simply remove phone numbers/emails.

For SMS notification, you have to enable this function by ticking "Send SMS notifications to these numbers" as shown in the image above.
Manually Sending Customer Notifications
As mentioned above, after entering phone numbers and emails, our software will automatically send updates on the pickup/delivery process to the customers. Enabling your business customers to track their order status through automated notifications. However, you can send ETA&POD notifications manually to your customers at any time you want to notify them.
Send from the Manifests page.
You can send a notification to all customers in as many manifests as you want.
2. Select the manifest(s) you want to send notifications
3. After you select a manifest, click "Notify"
4. Select SMS and/or Email notifications you want to send to all clients in the selected manifest > click "Send"
Your customers will receive notifications for their orders in the selected manifest when you click "Send".

If you want to notify your customer about any specific order, sending a notification from the Orders page is the best way. You can only notify one recipient in one order at a time.
2. Click into the order you want to send the notification
3. Make sure you fill in Emails or/and Phones > click "Send notification"
Your customer will be notified of this order when you click "Send notification".
You can click the blue "Tracking link" on the right side of the Delivery section, as shown in the image above, to view your electronic proof of delivery (POD).
