Comment Requirements for Returns and Futile Orders in the Driver App

Overview:
This article outlines when and how comments are required for returns and futile orders in the Driver App.

Futile Orders

When a driver marks an order as futile, a comment box will automatically appear.
The driver must enter a reason before they can proceed.
This ensures comments are always captured for futile orders.

Returns

For returns, there is no immediate pop-up comment box.
Instead, once a return is entered, the system makes the overall order comment field mandatory.
If the driver attempts to finish the order without entering a comment, they will be prompted to add one.
The driver will not be able to complete the order until a comment is provided.
The comment should be added to the overall comment section of the order.
