Overview

The Driver Licence tab in the SolBox Settings allows administrators to manage licence validation requirements for drivers. This ensures that only drivers with valid licences can operate vehicles and process orders within the platform.


Key Features

  • Mandatory Licence Validation

    You can enable the checkbox “Driver licence validation is mandatory for operating a vehicle and processing orders.” When enabled, the system will restrict drivers without a valid licence from being assigned to vehicles or manifests.


  • Exceptions List

    Administrators can add drivers who are exempt from the licence validation rule. These exceptions will still be allowed to operate vehicles and process orders even if licence validation is mandatory.


  • Add or Remove Exceptions

    Use the “Add a driver to exceptions” field to include a driver in the exception list. Click the trash icon beside a driver’s name to remove them from the exceptions list.



Purpose

Enforcing driver licence validation helps maintain compliance and operational safety by ensuring only authorized, verified drivers are assigned to active routes and manifests.
