Barcode
monitoring allows fleet managers to track order items efficiently by using
barcode labels and scanning devices, such as driver mobile apps. This
technology streamlines workflows and enhances accuracy in tracking inventory,
ensuring real-time visibility and reducing the chances of errors in item
management.
How to
Set Up Barcode Monitoring
- Enable Barcode Tracking:
- Navigate
to the Settings module.
- Check
the box next to Enable Barcode Tracking to activate the feature.
2. Assign Barcodes to
Orders:
- Go
to the Orders Module and select the order you want to track.
- Click
on the Barcode Tab and then click Add Barcode.
- Enter
the Barcode Title (e.g., order ID or item description) and click Save.

The barcode
is now ready to be scanned and linked to the order.

Scanning
Barcodes Using the Driver App
- Select the Order:
- In
the driver app, select the order you wish to track.
- Tap the Barcodes
option.
2. Scan the Barcode:
- Tap
Scan Barcodes to activate the scanning feature.
- Once the barcode is
successfully scanned, a confirmation message will appear, indicating the
barcode has been successfully captured.
3. Real-Time Updates:
- The
web app will instantly update and display the barcode that was
successfully scanned, ensuring real-time synchronization across devices.
