Getting Started with Prestart Management


Prestart Management allows you to set up the checks drivers must complete before starting their run, organise those checks into plans, and review completed prestart submissions.

The module has three parts:
  1. Prestart Items – individual checks
  2. Prestart Plans – groups of items assigned to vehicles
  3. Prestart Reports – submitted check results from drivers



Prestart Items

Prestart Items are the individual questions or tasks that drivers must complete. Examples include: Tyres, Lights, Vehicle Damage, Safety Equipment, Load Security, and Driver Health.




Prestart Plans

A Prestart Plan is a collection of Prestart Items that you assign to vehicles or vehicle groups. You can also set how often drivers must complete the checks.



InfoMandatory Prestart Checks: You can set a plan so drivers must complete all items before starting their run. When enabled, the Start Run button will remain locked until all checks are complete.
Idea
If drivers are required to confirm their fitness to operate the vehicle, you can enable the Driver Declaration option. This requires drivers to acknowledge the declaration either before or after completing their checks.




Prestart Reports

Prestart Reports show the results of checks submitted by drivers. This allows you to review vehicle condition, identify issues, and keep a record of completed inspections.
