Creating, Editing & Removing Zones

Zones allow you to define specific areas on the map to support order allocation, run planning, and territory management. They help you group customers, set delivery boundaries, and allocate orders based on visually defined map areas.

Below are the steps to create, edit and remove zones:


Creating a New Zone

1. Go to Zones in the left menu. Click the New zone button.





2. A pop up will appear. Enter the Zone Name and click Save.




3. A single starting point will appear on the map. Click this point to open the pop up menu and select Add point to begin shaping the zone.






4. Keep adding points and move them as needed to outline the desired area until the zone shape is complete.




5. Once the shape has been outlined and is correct, click Save to finalise the zone.



Warning
If you are creating more than one zone and they sit next to each other, ensure the boundaries are drawn accurately. Avoid overlaps, and make sure there are no gaps between the zones. Any address that falls into a gap will remain unallocated.


Editing an Existing Zone

1. Select the zone you want to edit from the list.


The zone boundary will appear on the map with movable points.



2. Click any point to open the pop up menu, where you can Add point or Remove point.


3. Move or add points as required to adjust the boundary.







4. Click Save changes when finished.

Use Reset changes to revert the zone back to its original shape before saving. Once Save changes is clicked, the previous boundary cannot be restored.


Removing a Zone

1. Select the zone you want to remove. Click the bin icon.


2. Confirm the deletion to remove the zone.


A confirmation message will appear once the zone has been removed.
